Botox injection
The procedure to reduce the appearance of the wrinkles.
When is procedure required?
Botox is a refined toxin of bacteria Clostridium botulinum. In aesthetic surgery, Botox is used for non-surgical wrinkle treatment and to treat the symptoms of severe sweating (primary axillary hyperhidrosis). Wrinkles on the face are the result of repeated muscle contractions whenever we express emotion (smiling, frowning, etc.). When Botox is injected it relaxes these facial muscles, decreasing the pull they have on the skin’s surface, smoothing the wrinkles of the glabella (between your eyebrows), forehead, and eyes.
What does the procedure include?
Botox is most commonly applied to the parts of the forehead muscle that causes horizontal wrinkles, eyebrow muscles that cause vertical wrinkles and to parts of the orbicular muscle for deep wrinkle eye care. Botox is also injected into the skin of axilla to treat the symptoms of severe sweating (primary hyperhidrosis). Time required for Botox application is about 15-30 minutes.

Special preparations for the procedure are not required. The results of Botox therapy are visible in 3-6 months.
