Penile girth enhancement
The procedure to achieve enlargement of penile circumference.
When is surgical procedure required?
The procedure is performed for personal and aesthetic reasons.
What does the surgery include?
One surgical technique is the implantation of fat tissue previously taken by liposuction from the patient. The maximum injected fatty tissue is 50cc which sometimes require repeated applications. The second method is penile enlargement by placing the Alloderm graft. The problem of reabsorption and uneven fat tissue distribution is solved by this method. The disadvantages of this method are the duration of procedure, the presence of a foreign body, and increased susceptibility to infection. The procedure takes 1 to 2 hours and is performed under general anaesthesia.
How to get prepared?
The day before surgery a patient should eat light food and stop smoking and drinking alcohol and not take anything orally after a night’s sleep. The patient can return to work within 7 days. Avoiding any sexual contact for approximately 6 weeks is recommended.
Related tests and examinations:
Physical examination and tests indicated by the anaesthesiologist (laboratory tests, ECG, heart and lung X-ray scan, physical examination by another specialist) should be performed after the examination by a plastic surgeon.
